I recently attended a silver wedding party at the Canada Lake & Lodge, and don’t worry despite the name I can safely say it’s in the UK.
The setting of this place is absolutely superb, with the stone lodge built in chalet style overlooking Canada Lake (which again to avoid confusion, is in Wales).
The venue is on two levels with a beautiful spiralling staircase linking them. A balcony which is lit up at night (very pretty and not at all tacky) overlooks the lake.
I had a fantastic time at the party I attended which I am sure is partially down to the venue (silver wedding anniversaries aren’t really my thing). I will warn you that the venue has become increasingly popular for wedding receptions and parties, so would recommend that you book well in advance!
